Hi everyone

Late last year (2010) my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is being amazing and is currently half way through her 6 chemotherapy treatments. While she is going through this challenging time i have decided to also set myself 6 challenges in order to raise money for breast cancer care.

I am running 6 half marathons in 6 months, which for those of you who know me will realise is going to be a major accomplishment as i usually run one a year and hurt!

The events i am running are:

Plymouth Half Marathon - 29th May 2011

Swanage Half Marathon -  16th July 2011

Sturminster Newton Half  Marathon - 7th August 2011

Bristol Half Marathon - 11th September 2011

Cardiff Half Marathon - 16th October 2011

The Great South Run (10miles) - 30th October 2011

This in total is 75.5miles!! This is like me running from Bristol to Exeter...!

If any of you wish to come and support me on any of these days then that would be great as i think i am going to need some encouragement along the way!

I have set myself a target of raising £2000 and every penny you donate will help me to get to that. Any donation, large or small, will be HUGELY appreciated!
